Welcome to the Last Chance Cup! COPA SURF, the 2024 SD Surf Cup Qualifier!

Each year hundreds of teams are not accepted to participate in the San Diego Surf Cup, the Best College Recruiting event in the country. The 2024 COPA SURF Olders is your team's last chance to gain acceptance to this year's Surf Cup Competition in San Diego and Oceanside.

Copa Surf — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U15-U19 age groups will be held June 1-2, 2024 in the Central Valley. Be part of a Regional Showcase tournament that sends its winners to the Surf Cup in San Diego!

This event will be for 2005-2009 birth year players. All 2005 and 2006 teams should register under the 2005 (U19) birth year age group for this event. This will be a combined 2005/2006 age group for this event.

Every year, Surf hosts two different editions of our COPA SURF — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U8-U19 age groups. This is a PREMIER ELITE ranked and one of the top-ranked tournaments in Northern California and the Nation. This year, Copa Surf - Olders will be hosted in the Central Valley and surrounding cities.

• Age Groups: Boys & Girls 2009-2005 (15U-19U)
• Entry Fee: $1095 (11v11)
• Early Bird Discount: $995 (11v11) – Early bird ends April 15, 2024
• Application Deadline: May 15, 2024
• Event Dates: June 1-2, 2024
• There will be a 3-game guarantee with finals on Sunday, June 2, 2024
• Departure: If you plan to make travel arrangements before the schedule is announced, we recommend making departure travel arrangements based on the last kickoff being at 3:00 pm.
• The COPA SURF — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier will host boys and girls from 15U to 19U in one bracket: Best of the Best

           Best of the Best winners will earn the automatic bid to Surf Cup San Diego in late July 2024.

• 2009-2005 Birth year will play 11v11
• Each team is Guaranteed 3 Games.
• All Games will be played in the Central Valley.
  
• Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. (Championship Matches)
• Trophy for 1st place teams. (Championship Matches)
• Best of the Best Champion - Automatic Acceptance to Summer Surf Cup 2024 (Separate Entry Payment Required)

This is a Class I Tournament open to USYS, US Club Soccer, USSSA, and FIFA-affiliated teams.
This event is sanctioned by US Club Soccer and ALL players must have 2023/2024 player cards to participate.
The registration deadline is May 15, 2024, at midnight. Teams will be notified of their acceptance for the event by May 16, 2024.
